On the model of collagen-induced arthritis in rats the anti-inflammatory properties of the composition containing the combination of doxycycline hydrochloride and glucosamine hydrochloride have been studied in comparison with its active monocomponents – doxycycline, glucosamine hydrochloride. According to the results of the experimental studies conducted it has been proven that the composition containing the combination of doxycycline hydrochloride and glucosamine hydrochloride has a strong beneficial effect on the metabolism of the cartilage and bone tissue on the background of the autoimmune arthritis development and leads to inhibition of autoimmune processes in the connective tissue of animals. The normalization of the functional state of the joints and the immunosorbent indicators has been observed. According to the degree of pharmacological effects on the most parameters studied the combination exceeds the reference objects – the substance of doxycycline hydrochloride and glucosamine hydrochloride. The composition containing the combination of doxycycline hydrochloride and glucosamine hydrochloride is a promising corrector of the inflammatory and destructive joint diseases with the autoimmune component, and can be recommended for application in the complex therapy of patients with immuno-inflammatory and inflammatory-destructive diseases of the joints.References
